Dov was on hand in New York last week to accept the award for Retailer of the Year at the 15th Annual Michael Awards, noted by those in the know as 'The Golden Globes of Fashion.' American Apparel was honored by Steve Shor, Founder and President of the awards, for its "progressive business practices and and provocative advertising campaigns [which] have set the company apart as a fascinating story in the fashion world".
